Because we used to own a small cottage on the Isle of Skye, we are lucky enough to have got to know this incredible place quite well.  It is one of the most photogenic areas of our country and I can highly recommend a visit for anyone interested in mountains, wildlife, the sea, history, or the sheer beauty of landscapes.  Below are just a few examples of what can be seen on this gorgeous island (which is actually connected to the mainland by a bridge now!)
